Go to a Performance

On the 19th, December of 2008, ‘The Taming of the Shrew’ was put on in Nanjing Foreign Language School Auditorium. I went to the performance with my classmates and teachers. The actors were chosen from GCA Drama Club which includes grade 10 to grade 12 students. The protagonists are Cherry (from 12-C) and Fan (from 11-E).
The play focused on romance and relationships. However, actors and actresses were not shy about these requirements. Fan was accustomed to carrying Cherry on his shoulder, while Felix from 11-C and Peggy from 12-D face to face, pretended to kiss passionately. Those actors did their best to add funny scenes in order to get audience involve in the play. I like it very much, not only because this show brings us happiness, but also help us, the audience, understand Shakespeare’s play.

Physical Activity

During the school term to 2008 to 2009, I signed up in GCA Badminton Club, and I recommended myself to join in GCA Badminton Team.
At the beginning of this school term, every GCA badminton club members can practice badminton in Nanjing Normal University on Saturday afternoons. I went to the gym and practice badminton almost every time we can, so my badminton skill becomes better and better. Our school team was made up by GCA Team One and GCA Team Two, and I play in GCA Team One as mixed-doubles. Our school team was invited to Nanjing International School to compete for the Badminton Championship. Luckily, GCA Team One won the final Championship!
This school club makes me know more about badminton. The most important skill for me is how to work in a team and how to work in a employee of the company, so GCA Badminton Team improve my team-working ability. I’m glad that I joined in this team!

Eating Western Food With Friends

A long time ago (I really do not remember what was the date), I went to an Italian Restaurant with my friend Gu Jiayi. We ordered a lot of Italian food and a lot of drinks, so my plan to lose weight could be forgotten.

The restaurant is located in the Lion Bridge. The reason we chose this restaurant is the restaurant is near our home, and it is very easy to find. I like Italian food very much, because those food are delicious, and it includes cheese, macaroni, and a lot of really wonderful food. Comparing with the rice and some other food I usually eat, these Italian food are very greasy, maybe it was not the traditional food made by Italian.

Because it is a foreign restaurant, only a few people come there and have their dinner, so for me it was a very quiet place to have dinner, and I like this kind of quiet place to eat. The service here also very good, so after the first time I eat with Gu Jiayi, I recommend my primary school classmates to come to have dinner, and they also felt that it is a good place. The only problem was the dish here goes very slow, so people have to wait for a long time to enjoy their dinner. If you also want to go, just go~

Exhibition With My Friends

On the 28th of Feberary, 2009, I went to Nanjing History Museum with my friends, Gu Jiayi , Wang Yue and Xu Chuyue. There are different kinds of rooms to show different themes about Nanjing's history. For me, this was not a very exiting trip there, because I do not like history at all. Luckily, we found Wu Weishan's sculpture there.

The most impressive part was the four men made by clay a long time ago, we four people stood in front of those four men and made the same movement as them. When we took this photo, people around us were shocked and happily smiled.

We spent only a few moment there, because nobody was interested in it, so we turned back to home soon after.
